A-OK Equipment & Supply Co., Inc. was incorporated by Douglas B. McLain in November of 1979. Beginning with only two employees, the company tried to be all things to all people – selling coin-op car wash equipment, chemicals, supplies, coin-op laundry equipment and portable pressure washers.

As the company matured, it focused only on the car wash industry – namely, coin-op self-service and touchless automatic equipment. Self-service products include coin meters, pumping stations, Fluid Module II, tri-color conditioner, and bay accessories. DynaWash Express and DynaDry comprise A-OK's touchless automatic equipment. These have always been, and still are, A-OK's best selling products. In addition, the company manufactures reverse-osmosis water treatment systems.

From the very beginning, A-OK Equipment has built a strong reputation of manufacturing reliable and durable car wash equipment at a competitive price through it worldwide network of car wash equipment distributors and equipment owners. The company's success can be attributed to a strong focus toward building rugged, durable and reliable car wash equipment and maintaining a core group of key employees that have been with the company for over 20 years.
